Becoming a Champion in Knight Estate, More Details on What to Expect

A couple of months ago, I launched one of the most exciting features of Knight Estate, the "Become a Champion" program. Today, I'll walk you through exactly how you can become a permanent character in the game.

About the Program

It’s your chance to enter the universe of Knight Estate as a fully designed character. That means your likeness, your knight's name, and even your coat of arms will appear in-game, initially as a tournament champion, but with the potential to evolve into a lord, bandit leader, or faction commander as the game grows.

The "Become a Champion" program is more than just a feature to show off, it's a way to support indie development and be part of something that’s built with heart from the ground up. Consider it crowdfunding, but for a game that's already out.

Steps to Join

1. Sign up on the website - Head to the official studio site and sign up for the “Become a Champion in Knight Estate” program. It costs just $20, a steal, considering how much personalization is involved.
2. Provide your contact info - You'll see a section where you can leave either your email or Discord ID. I’ll personally reach out within 24 hours.
3. Send me your details - I’ll ask for either a photo (for likeness) or a character description if you’d prefer not to share a photo. You’ll also choose a knight's name for your character.
4. My job - Using your photo or description, I’ll digitally hand-draw your character, design a custom coat of arms, and integrate them into the game.

What You Get

• A permanent character in the game - Your knight will be part of Knight Estate forever, across all future versions, platforms, and even if we move to 3D.
• Appear in the game's tournament section - Champions show up as opponents in the in-game tournament feature, with expanding roles as development continues.
• Access a champions-only Discord channel - You’ll get access to an exclusive Discord channel to receive early updates, share your ideas, and influence the game's future.
• Future role expansion - As the game grows, champions might become lords, faction leaders, or warlords with their armies and influence.

I created this game because I wanted to build a strategy RPG that has depth, inspired by games like Crusader Kings 3, but built for mobile. I even taught myself to code a year ago just to make this come to life. It’s a passion project through and through, and yeah, it’s still rough in places, but it’s improving every day.
