Wednesday Walk - Ayutthaya Market

Hello Wednesday Walk! 🚶‍♀️✨

Here’s another nice activity for walking, and this is my post about my stroll at the Ayutthaya Market last Tuesday 🛍️. When I wake up early, I choose to come here because it’s not far from my place and my workplace. What I really love—and the highlight here—are the local products 🧺, household items 🏺, and delicious sweets 🍡 at very friendly prices.

• As always, the market has two long rows of stalls, which makes it fun to walk around and enjoy looking at all the food 🍜. But on Fridays, I usually buy fresh river prawns 🦐 to cook dishes like Tom Yum Goong 🍲. The prices are affordable since Ayutthaya is famous for selling fresh river prawns—it’s right by the river 🌊, so cheap prawns are just normal here!

Did you notice how dark and gloomy the sky was on Tuesday morning? ⛅🌧️ Honestly, it was quite a risk for me to go to the market, hehe, because it might have rained while I was walking. ☔😅 But I decided to take the chance and head there anyway, since as I mentioned, it’s not far from my workplace 🏢.

Along the way, all I could see were rows of buildings 🏙️, because the market is right next to where I work. 🛍️👣

It took me less than 5 minutes to reach the market 🚶‍♀️⏱️. You could really feel the lively atmosphere with so many people around 🎉🛍️. I walked around happily, checking out breakfast options 🍳🥪 and picking up some fresh organic vegetables 🥦🥕 for my dinner later. 🍽️✨

I really love the little plant corner 🌱💚. They’re small decorative plants perfect for brightening up a room 🏡✨. But honestly, if I bought them for my place, they’d probably die soon, haha 😅🪴.

This corner is a health food stall 🥗🍎 offering a variety of choices, from fresh vegetables 🥦 to colorful, pesticide-free fruits 🍇🍊.

Besides healthy food, there were also plenty of other options to choose from—like steaks 🥩, noodles 🍜, and sweet desserts 🍮. Honestly, I really enjoyed walking around the Ayutthaya Market 🛍️.

But not long after, unfortunately, it started to rain 🌧️. I had to run back quickly to my workplace 🏃‍♀️💨. Luckily, by the time I arrived, the rain poured down even harder ⛈️—such perfect timing!

And that was another fun walking activity for me at the Ayutthaya Walking Street 🚶‍♀️✨.
