The once-abandoned plants

Hello!Greetings everyone.
After church today (Sunday) and after my meal, the sun was blazing very high and everywhere was extremely hot. Unfortunately, I didnât plug in the solar fan before leaving for church, so it wasnât strong enough to sustain the roomâs coolness when I put it on.
So, I decided to go to my once-abandoned garden to take a look at the sudden positive growth of the plants, and I was amazed because I didnât expect to see what I saw.
Some of the once-abandoned pepper plants have started producing fruits, and the last time I checked, say a week or two ago, it was just one fruit that one of the plants had. But now, I counted, and there are up to seven fruits.

Is it not advisable to count upcoming fruits?
In my part of the world, while we were growing up and farming, we had the superstitious belief that when you count fruits while they are still in their producing stage, the plants and the fruits would die off within a couple of weeks. Maybe thatâs just superstition, but we believed it to the core. Lol.
I didnât mind though; I was just too happy to see the once-abandoned plants growing again and producing fruits.
Ever since I blocked the entrance of the place, the plants havenât been disturbed much compared to how they suffered when the entrance was open. Now, even some flowers are comfortably attached to the plants.

Also, thereâs a sudden growth of scent leaf plants, and theyâve been growing very richly as if manure is being added to them. Scent leaf is one plant I have always wanted to have around, and thankfully, it appeared on its own. Iâve been plucking the leaves occasionally to cook.
Thanks for reading.
