v2.11 is now live on Android and iOS, bringing a cleaner look to our internal browser with a new menu and some new features!

Long-Press to Share or Download Media

This feature was recently requested in our Discord server, and we started working on it right away. You can now do a long-press on images or videos inside the in-app browser to SHARE and DOWNLOAD them.

Try it now if you are reading this from the latest version of our app, and let us know your experience.

New Contextual Menu With More Tools

We redesigned how you access browser options, and the result is a compact, powerful menu with essential tools:

  • πŸ”„ Refresh
  • πŸ“€ Share Page
  • 🧹 Clear Cache
  • πŸ”Ž Find in Page (new!)
  • πŸ–₯️ Desktop Mode
  • πŸŽ“ Tutorial Help

By moving several features into this new contextual menu, we also freed up space on the URL bar, giving the interface a cleaner and more comfortable layout. This also makes it easy to clear the cache of any dapp, which was a common issue for many users. Now anyone can find it without needing to go to the URL bar, it used to be.

You can now search for any word or term on the current webpage, a super useful tool when reading long posts, documentation, or guides. We have many of those on Hive, so we feel this will be a perfect fit for many users.

What other feature will improve your browsing experience in Hive Keychain? Share your thoughts in the comments!
