Hi friends, greetings and welcome to another exciting week #prompt of @therealtalkk community. This time around, the theme is focused on what we learned about ourselves in the past year. Take a seat let me run you through what I learned about myself in 2025.

Even though 2025 was a bit rough, tough and filled with uncertainty, I learned to face my fears and challenge whatever situation I find myself instead of running away from it. I learned that I can achieve whatever I fix my mind on even without the help of others.

I learned to be optimistic, to always see the green light no matter how tiny and insignificant it might look to others, I don't want to rule it out because the green indicates survival, growth and hope.

Most importantly, I learned to forgive freely, to let go completely without holding anything back. There are a lot of people who hurt me in different ways, both in words and actions. Some were so painful especially when it's coming from someone you look up to or someone that's like a mentor to you. I had to let go and forgive them freely even without the person asking because I needed it for my own mental sanity and good health.

I learned never to let go of God no matter the situation I find myself. When I'm in my lowest moments, I want to turn to God and not isolate myself.

I learned the importance of having good friends in my life, especially those doing way better than me. It's a good motivation to strive better and not just be okay in my comfort zone.

** Learning from our past self is a stepping stone to a better lifestyle in the new year!**

This is my entry to this week @therealtalkk #prompt and I invite @omachi213 and @sarahbaby @ozibaby to tell us what they learned from their past self.
