On this occasion, one of my main activities was to make two locksmith tools, previously I made part of one but it turned out a little wrong.

Also because I was testing the mechanism to see if it worked, it is a piece called by locksmiths a crab and I am replicating it because in my house the locks are damaged very often, and I have a lot of damaged ones in a drawer, it is time to fix them and stop buying a new one and contribute to the programmed obsolescence of the industry.

Previously I made it out of aluminum, this material is very good for certain things, but for a piece that contains some very used threads it wears out quickly, that's why I chose stainless steel so that it would last the rest of my life.

I started with the most difficult part of the piece, a round channel, I made this with a special drill and a milling cutter, as seen in the image.
