š§ Day 5 in Splinterlands: Discovered the Frontier Format and Grinded to Bronze II!
Today was full of surprises.
While exploring the game modes, I stumbled upon a new formatāFrontier, where you're only allowed to use Foundations-associated cards. No Rebellion, no Conclave Arcanaājust the classics. It felt like an entirely different battleground!
I started at Bronze III and battled my way up until I completely drained my 20 Energy Points, eventually climbing back into Bronze II.
āļø What is Frontier Format?
Only Foundations set cards are allowed (no Modern cards)
Makes the game feel very āold schoolā
Card pool is smaller, so strategy becomes sharper
Definitely worth trying if youāre feeling stuck in Modern
š Bronze II Rewards (Frontier Format)
For reaching Bronze II, I got 5 reward chests, and hereās what they gave me:
š§Ŗ 1 Legendary Potion
š§Ŗ 2 Alchemy Potions
šæ Aurelia ā An Earth Summoner (huge!)
āļø Kanaaq Miner ā A Neutral monster with sneak potential
Aurelia is an awesome pullāI can finally test out Earth splinter combos!
š¦ Daily Reward Chest Loot
I managed to claim 4 daily chests (2 from Bronze III + 2 from Bronze II). And this time, I hit a solid streakāall 4 were cards:
šŖ Sturdy Axe Warden
šŗ Dread Trafarian
š”ļø Nim Guard Captain and
š« Spitting Camel
Not bad at allāespecially since I can start combining them as duplicates come in. Every bit helps when climbing out of Bronze.
š My Strategy Moving Forward
Keep alternating between Modern and Frontier formats
Build around Aurelia for Earth splinter tests
Maximize daily energy before reset
Continue card combining for better stats
Prepare an early rental strategy next season to push for Silver
š£ļø Quick Question for You:
Have you tried the Frontier Format yet? Do you think itās better for climbing as a new or returning player?
Alsoāany good Aurelia combos I should try out in Bronze? Let me know in the comments š
