π§ Earphones Syndrome

Welcome to my blog.
My encounter with a played song by my neighbour made me remember what happened with a friend and also inspired me to write about it.
I hope you enjoy your read.
A friend of mine once said that she enjoys and prefers quietly listening to music alone with her earphones, headphones, or earpod.
She even went further to argue that she wouldn't dance to a song randomly played.
I laughed and told her that it's new airpod syndrome that was doing her.
Yes....New airpod syndrome.
There is this unidentified spirit to come when someone newly buys an airpod.
You tend to use it often and it becomes your favourite thing.
You use it for calls even when you are holding your handset.
You love that wondering π€glance from people when you are walking talking to yourself.
You deliberately ignore conversations and avoid engaging with people outside.
When asked, you point to your ears(pretending not to hear), even when you obviously heard what they were saying.
You feel empty when you are not with your earpod or when the battery is low.
I didn't argue much with her because I know music is a wonder to thy soul.
Music moves and can make someone lose home training and steeze.
Music isn't just enjoyed in one way, it is widely enjoyed.
Especially when you listen to good songs that flow well with the mood and environment.
Not forgetting hearing it from a quality sound system.
One day, we went for a talent show/party.
I prayed to God in my heart for the event to have good DJ, then the work is done.
We got there with and I was impressed, it wasn't an open event.
So, the sound will be confined and clean.
Though the first DJ didn't do well, he was a warm-up DJ.
I smiled when a new DJ came for the event proper, just two cool songs he played that went well.
My friend was already nodding.
Oh wow, you are vibing to the tunes?πππ
I said to my friend, we laughed together.
Then she stood up and started dancing π
At this point, I said "o ti lor," meaning it is finished β οΈ
The work is done......drops π€
