The day of reflection.

Hello guys, welcome to this wonderful day and another great week in hive reachout community. My day is going very well and I am very happy to be here and I love the fact that we are already at the end of this year, just few weeks left. Christmas is already on its way and our topic for this week and it's another time to celebrate. This weeks topic is concerning Christmas. It's says "The meaning of Christmas". Christmas originally means the day that Jesus was born and the day he came to this earth.
Some Bible experts came out to say that the real day Jesus was born was not on Christmas day, the said it was during raining season and they have their facts. That madr me understand that Christmas is not just a day that we celebrate Jesus birthday, it's also a day that should be able to remind us of the purpose of Christ coming to this world, his main goal, and also to bring us back to track before entering the new year. I also see it as a space of reflection, a time where you sit and look at yourself from January till date and start analyzing how.many of.your goals you have achieved, a place where you begin to ask God about your next year.
It's very easy to set goals for the year, but it it's very hard to achieve them. So on that day you can just quickly look at your self and father everything thing you have done and achieve and see whether this year was worth the struggle. Is it wasn't then you will try next year to achieve more and make it worth it. Christmas is a day meant for celebrating, let's not forget that, we celebrate this day and it also makes us to remember our Lord and personal savior, and how he sent his only begotten son to come and die for us. So we are celebrating the day that Jesus came to this world to give us freedom and salvation. It's this same freedom and salvation that gives us purity and makes us a born again Christian.
In the old testament, animals blood were used to part and beg God to forgive our sins, but Jesus came and gave his blood, and he gave himself as a point of contact to God. He came to suffer what we are suffering, to feel what we are feeling, making him find an easy way to draw us nearer to God.
So.lets celebrate that day, and let's also look back at ourselves and thank God, for even being alive is something worth thanking God. Let's all be happy and let's ask God to take over our next year and help us to achieve more than what we have achieved this year. Thank you all for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my entry, see you all next week.
