How's it going, fellow Splinterlands collectors? Did you pull any Gold or Black Arcane cards for the presale? I've got to admit I'm a little bit bitter about not pulling any. I aped in as hard as I could, harder than I've ever for any other pack, but I came up empty. I did get a bunch of Epic and a few Legendary cards, so it's not that bad, but I really had my heart set on getting one of the new Black cards. Now that the game alerts you whenever someone else pulls one, it feels like they would get one right before or right after I'd open packs, and that the game hates me. If I were a conspiracy theorist, I'd be Discording the game, asking what I did wrong, but I know this is an honest game and it's just random luck.

How about the raffle? Did you get lucky with that? I had about 160 tickets, so I was hoping I'd get lucky with them, but the raffle draw came up empty for me. As a person who is interested in Splinterlands for the long haul and cares about the game continuing to exist and making money, I'm glad to see raffles as part of presales. This just makes things more exciting, in my opinion, even if I walked away empty-handed.

I've still got a sliver of hope because I have two wagons. I should've held on to a few more of my Conclave Arcana packs as they help you get more conflict points, but there's still time to load up for conflicts because they'll start in a month or two. It's fair that they let you use the current cards you're playing with, and will auto-fill the best cards for you too. I don't like that your wagon gets destroyed when you win, though. I guess if I pull a super valuable card, it won't matter.

Now that the Chaos Legion has been moved to the Wild League, I've had to start all over. I did a good job of getting my Reward Cards powered up, but they're not enough to be competitive. As you can see from my Modern collection, I'm missing a lot of cards. As a collector, it was great picking up Legendary Chaos Legion cards for fifty cents to a buck, but those days are gone! I'd like to have every card in Modern, but I feel it's better to have my Common and Rare cards leveled up before I go Legendary shopping. Besides, I don't have any cash left after the presale.

Free Wild Pass!

I usually have a spare 2,000 DEC ready and 50,000 DEC staked to Land, but FOMO got the best of me, and I've spent everything on either Midnight Potions or Conclave Arcana packs, so I'm happy to see that playing in Wild this season will be free! It will also be interesting to see how many more players participate this season without paying the 2,000 DEC entrance fee.

I have mixed feelings about the Wild League. I am an Archmage bot user and sleep well knowing that the bot will play for me every hour, but I also kinda wish that Splinterlands would ban botting altogether, even though it benefits me GLINT-wise. If it ever comes up as a vote for a proposal, I'll vote YES to ban the bots, but I also understand that the Wild League was made so people who do bot could continue to do so. I don't know, it's a tricky situation. While people should be free to do what they want with their accounts it also does suck playing against an AI that can analyze and strategize better than most people can. To ban or not to ban. Either way, I'll still be here grinding it out for that GLINT, trying to MAX out as many Reward Cards as I can. How do you feel about the Wild League and all the bots?
