Hello, my dear Hivers! @itsmemic once again. How are you all? I hope you’re all doing great.

This blog is actually a throwback-featuring photos way back February 14. These photos have been in my gallery for a long time!

While I was scrolling through my phone, I came across the pictures and decided to write something about them.

On that day, the SSG officers at Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges organized something special: they allowed students to sell flowers, bouquets, and other gift items for Valentine’s Day. It was the perfect opportunity for students who had small businesses to showcase their products, and as soon as the announcement was made, many student entrepreneurs quickly prepared to set up shop in the student lounge.

One of the vendors happened to be my younger sibling’s classmate. Before the event, my sister excitedly told me that her classmate would be selling bouquets made of fuzzy wires. She even asked if I might be interested in getting one. At the time, I just replied that I’d check them out the next day because I was curious to see how they would turn out. The idea of bouquets crafted from fuzzy wires sounded so creative and unique!

When the day arrived, I went to the student lounge around 10 AM, knowing that the vendors would have already finished setting up their displays. And I was right!

When I got there, their displays looked amazing. Although I initially went looking for the fuzzy wire bouquets, I first saw bouquets made of yarn—basically, crochet bouquets. I had seen these so many times on my TikTok feed!

Even though I know how to make crochet flower bouquets, I don’t have large yarns, so I was never able to make one like this. That’s why I was instantly drawn to them—they were really beautiful!

Oh, and by the way, here are also the fuzzy wire bouquets! If I remember correctly, they were priced at around 180 pesos.

Beside the bouquet displays, there was a backdrop made of curtain foils color red and pink foil, along with balloons that matched the curtain foils.

It was the perfect spot for taking pictures! To make things even more fun, they provided cute emoji props and stylish shades for everyone to use. It really felt like a mini Valentine’s Day fair!

And that concludes the pictures I take that day, my dear hivers! I hope you had as much fun reading about this little throwback as I did!
