April and its four / Abril y su cuatro. [Eng-Esp]

Greetings, dear classmates.
Today I want to share with you a little bit about an assignment that was sent to my child at school, related to the ephemeris of the month of April. He was assigned an ephemeris that I really didn't know about: April 4th, which is celebrated as the Day of the Cuatro, a four-stringed musical instrument that is fundamental in our Venezuelan llanera music.
This instrument is one of the pillars of this genre, since, as we well know, we always associate llanera music with the phrase: "harp, cuatro and maraca." That's why it was my turn to help my son make a cardboard cuatro to explain this special ephemeris that is celebrated this month.
We really enjoyed doing this work, as we had never been assigned an activity of this kind before. Although we had few materials, we managed to solve in the best way and the result was a very nice four and a presentation that filled with pride and satisfaction, one more achievement for my child in school.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un poco sobre un trabajo que le enviaron a mi niño en la escuela, relacionado con las efemérides del mes de abril. Le asignaron una efeméride que yo de verdad desconocía: el 4 de abril, el cual se celebra el Día del Cuatro, un instrumento musical de cuatro cuerdas fundamental en nuestra música llanera venezolana.
Este instrumento es uno de los pilares de este género, ya que, como bien sabemos, siempre asociamos la música llanera con la frase: "arpa, cuatro y maraca." Por esto me tocó ayudar a mi hijo a hacer un cuatro de cartón para explicar esta efeméride tan especial que se celebra este mes.
Disfrutamos muchísimo haciendo este trabajo, ya que nunca nos habían asignado una actividad de este tipo. Aunque contábamos con pocos materiales, logramos resolver de la mejor manera y el resultado fue un cuatro muy bonito y una presentación que llenaron de orgullo y satisfacción, un logro más para mi niño en la escuela.
