Htilominlo Guphaya-gyi Temple - Old Bagan

Please, don't go to Myanmaaaar! This is the first words when i ask to my parents that i discussed it. Why did i ask for permission? Because I live with them, and it seem like even if they didn't allow me to, I still visit Myanmar ahaha.
Since 2021, I've been try to find as much information as possible, and finally, after four years, I able to go to Myanmar. Although many people don't know about Myanmar, I think anyone interest in the history of world civilization will know that this country is an important place in the world, right???

When I talk about Myanmar, I'm know that this country is very exotic place, with a million stories to tell. Do you know that in the past, there were thousands of people with strong Buddhist beliefs who built this city with such greatest and luxury? What a contrast to the current situation.
Old Bagan have the story of 1,000 pagodas. It's like a camp of temples from all over the world, a complex where you can choose which temple suits you best. It's like being in a cluster, with so many choices for yoy. One such choice was Htilominlo Guphaya-gyi.

Beautiful landscape, large and majestic temple. Inside, there are many interesting stories, especially since this is one of the temples that I find very clean, and the interior is different even it looks the same. It's more modern because of seems new additions, such as the 2 umbrella on either side of the most popular Buddha statue.
This temple turn out to be built by three previous kings. It's also said to be one of the largest temples in Old Bagan. Because the structure of this building appears well prepared if comparing to other temples, i just call it a nearly perfect temple, although there are several others that are still being built better. However, this temple is quite interesting because it's not a famous temple and can't be compared to, for example, Ananda Temple.

The Buddha statue also looks very fresh, like a new statue, not one that exist since the temple was built. However, that's why it's so crowded with visitors coming to pray. I even waited for them to finish praying and enter the temple, especially right in front of the Buddha statue. Maintaining good manners is paramount, especially as a visitor.
While it seemed strange that I was able to visit each temple one by one, my curiosity persisted, and there was nothing else I could do in Old Bagan besides that.

Call me Isdarmady, sometimes Mady, Putra or anything you want. I have a pretty long name but call me very nicely. There are many things I like, especially hydroponics and coffee, sometimes I also like traveling and eating whatever I want. Life should be like that, there must be many things you like so you can live well. Of course, what you want is a dream, so, when you have a dream then what you have to do is to achieve that dream, don't just let it be a dream.
There are many things I tell on my Blog, I hope you like it. Never hesitate to leave a comment, because your comments mean so much to keep me moving forward.
