Pay high tax for unhealthy products is not bad

TAX is a very important thing for a country. A country needs funds to operate all the necessary systems for a country, and TAX is one of the major sources of funds. That is the reason paying tax is very important. According to law, we are bound to pay it. Although there are some ways to avoid tax, it's illegal, and I don't think that can bring any good results for a country.

As citizens of a country, almost all of us pay our taxes. When it comes to property and assets, we need to pay it manually; otherwise, we'll face difficulty later because of violation of the law. I need a case of buying any product or service we are paying for every time. Every product we buy includes the tax. Many people are not aware of it, but we are paying taxes for each product we buy unless those products come to the country in an illegal way.

Depending on the products, the charges of taxes can be different. Naturally, our government charges more taxes on this product, which we buy to live a luxurious life. Suppose we are buying food; the tax on it is not so high, like when we go to buy a car or something that is ready for a luxurious life. Charging high taxes for those products is not fair from one perspective, but from another perspective, it's quite understandable to charge high taxes because the government is not forcing anyone to buy them. It's like if you want luxury, then you need to pay high taxes because luxury is not for the poor.

Among the food, there are many unhealthy products that are not good for people to consume. But there are always some people who go for it. Alcohol and cigarettes are a very common example of it. They are very harmful for our health, and those cost a lot of money. Based on my observation, most of people are reluctant to leave those products from consuming. This product is harmful to health, and I think everyone knows that if health starts to collapse, it can bring trouble for the whole family.

So, in my opinion, charging extremely high taxes on those unhealthy products won't be bad. In fact, I think it's beneficial for channel people because extremely high taxes may create a fear of buying those. In my eyes, it's very simple because I don't consume these unhealthy products, but those who do may have a different opinion.

I think that even if the government charges high taxes on those products, it won't stop people from consuming them, but it would have an advantage because in those cases, the amount of consumption will be reduced for sure, because they can't spend money continuously on it like in the past. And if they consume it less, it will be harmless to their health, and that's the reason I fully support the government if it changes the high taxes on it.
