I previously shared a post with you about going to Boztepe in Ordu, but we couldn't explore much at the time because there were so many of us. I don't really like group trips because it's hard to make everyone happy. One person wants to drink tea, another wants to walk around, another wants to enjoy the view, and another says they can't walk. When that happens, you can never do a group activity because someone always has to compromise. This time, I was there with my wife's family, and since their goal was to show me around, we had a much better time.

We were there over the weekend, and it was really crowded. It took us a long time just to find a place to park the car. It's a place where you walk from the bottom to the top. So we started walking up the hill and enjoyed the view as we walked.

In my opinion, it has a breathtaking view. You can see the whole city from the top, and the view of the deep blue sea is a bonus. Everything looks beautiful, all the way to the horizon where the sky meets the sea. We had tea at the cafe you see on the left side of the photo. It's one of the best things to do with this view. You think more clearly with a view like this. Of course, the crowds make it difficult, but sometimes you can isolate yourself.

After reaching the top, I saw the other side of the hill. This time, there were lush green forests rather than the city. As I mentioned before, it's hard to see the ground here; everywhere is covered with trees, and where there are no trees, there is grass. An interesting detail: neighborhood culture in the Black Sea region is very different. Houses are not close to each other; they are very far apart. There is one house on one hill, another house on another hill. You can see a classic neighborhood in the photo. Everyone has chosen to build a house where there is a hazelnut orchard.

Now it's time to talk about another unique experience I had there. We saw people paragliding on the hillside and went to watch. I had never witnessed this when we came here before.

I've never done paragliding before, but I'd like to try it once. I didn't do it that moment because I didn't feel ready. My wife's father did his military service as an airman. That's why he told us about his memories of parachuting in the army. I love listening to memories; it makes me feel like I'm back in those days.

You've never seen anything like this from my camera before. I'm sure some of you have never seen anything like this either. So here's a paragliding video for you. Would you like to experience something like this? If you don't have a fear of heights, I think you should definitely try it because the city is right at your feet.

On the way back, I saw an extremely cute puppy. I petted its head, but I wasn't the only one paying attention to it. Everyone, especially the little kids, was calling out to it. It's probably not a stray dog; they must be feeding it here.

There are street vendors selling everything there. There was corn in a cup, tea, coffee, ice cream, and much more. When such a moment reflected in my frame, I wanted to capture it. This potato looks very tasty. Have you ever tried anything like this before?

There were also many places selling not just food, but also clothes and jewelry. Dozens of varieties of bracelets, bags, and prayer beads. However, the prices here are higher than anywhere else. That's why I don't want to buy any of them 😅

Finally, if you're visiting a place in Turkey, there's no place where they don't sell fridge magnets and local clothing from that region. If you've come here once and want to return with a souvenir, this is a good choice. As I said, the prices are a bit expensive, but for very small things, this expense can be overlooked. You can buy a magnet for $1.

Daha önce sizinle Ordu'da Boztepe'ye gittiğim bir gönderi paylaşmıştım ama o dönem çok gezememiştik çünkü kalabalıktık. Kalabalık gezileri pek sevmiyorum çünkü herkesi mutlu etmek zor oluyor. Biri çay içmek istiyor, biri dolaşmak istiyor biri manzaranın tadını çıkarmak istiyor, biri ben yürüyemem diyor böyle olduğu zaman da asla toplu bir aktivite yapamıyorsunuz her zaman birileri bir şeylerden fedakarlık ediyor. Bu sefer eşimin ailesiyle ordaydım ve amaçları beni gezdirmek olduğu için daha güzel zaman geçirdik.

Hafta sonu oradaydık ve gerçekten aşırı kalabalıktı. Arabayı park edecek bir yer bulmamız bile çok uzun sürdü. Burası aşağıdan tepeye doğru yürüdüğünüz bir yer. Biz de tepeye doğru yürümeye başladık ve yürüdükçe manzaranın tadını çıkardık.

Bana göre nefes kesen bir manzarası var. Tüm şehri tepeden izleyebiliyorsunuz ve masmavi deniz manzarası da cabası. Gökyüzünün denizle buluştuğu ufka kadar her yer çok güzel görünüyor. Fotoğrafın solunda gördüğünüz kafede bir çay içtik. Bu manzaraya karşı yapılacak en güzel şeylerden biri. İnsan böyle bir manzarada daha net düşünüyor. Tabi ki kalabalık bunu zorlaştırıyor ama bazen kendinizi izole edebiliyorsunuz.

Tam tepeye ulaştıktan sonra tepenin diğer tarafını gördüm. Bu sefer şehirden ziyade yemyeşil ormanlar vardı. Daha önce de söylediğim gibi, burada toprağı görmek kolay değil, her yer ağaç ve ağaç yoksa da çimenle kaplı. İlginç bir detay; karadeniz bölgesinde mahalle kültürü çok farklı. Evler birbirine yakın değil, çok uzak. Bir tepede bir ev var, diğer tepede başka bir ev. Fotoğrafta da klasik bir mahalle görebilirsiniz. Herkes fındık bahçesinin olduğu yere bir ev yapmayı tercih etmiş.

Şimdi orada gördüğüm bir başka benzersiz deneyimden bahsetme zamanı. Tepenin yamacında insanların yamaç paraşütü yapabildiğini gördük ve izlemeye gittik. Daha önce buraya geldiğimizde buna hiç şahit olmamıştım.

Daha önce hiç yamaç paraşütü yapmadım ama bir kere deneyimlemek istiyorum. O an kendimi hazır hissetmediğim için yapmadım. Eşimin babası askerliğini havacı olarak yapmış. Bu yüzden bize askerdeki paraşütle atlama anılarından bahsetti. Anı dinlemeyi çok seviyorum, o günlere gitmişim gibi hissettiriyor.

Daha önce benim kameramdan böyle bir şey görmediniz. Eminim daha önce hiç böyle bir şey izlememiş olanlarınız da vardır. Bu yüzden işte size bir yamaç paraşütü videosu. Böyle bir şeyi deneyimlemek ister miydiniz? Yükseklik korkunuz yoksa bence mutlaka deneyimlemelisiniz çünkü şehir ayaklarınızın altında oluyor.

Dönüş yolunda aşırı tatlı bir köpek yavrusu gördüm. Başını okşadım ama etrafta ona ilgi gösteren tek kişi ben değildim. Herkes, özellikle de küçük çocuklar etrafında ona sesleniyordu. Muhtemelen bir sokak köpeği değil, burada onu besliyorlar.

Orada her şeyi satan seyyar satıcılar var. Bardakta mısır, çay, kahve, dondurma ve çok daha fazlası vardı. Kadrajıma böyle bir an yansıyınca çekmek istedim. Bu patates çok lezzetli görünüyor, daha önce hiç böyle bir şey yediniz mi?

Sadece yiyecek değil, giyecek ya da takı satan da pek çok yer vardı. Onlarca çeşit bileklik, çanta ve tespih. Ne var ki burada fiyatlar herhangi bir yerden daha yüksek oluyor. Bu yüzden bunlardan birini almak istemem 😅

Son olarak Türkiye'de bir yeri geziyorsanız o bölgeye ait buzdolabı magnetleri ve yöresel kıyafetlerin satılmadığı bir yer yoktur. Buraya bir defa geldiyseniz ve buradan bir hatırayla dönmek istiyorsanız iyi bir tercih. Dediğim gibi fiyatlar biraz pahalı ama çok küçük şeyler için bu pahalılık göz ardı edilebilir. 1 dolar karşılığında bir magnet alabiliyorsunuz.
