IMXcenter Giveaway just for Gods Unchained Community
Mortals!
This week I’m running a special giveaway event — giving away all the tokens I earned during the week from Gods Unchained. Every $GODS I farmed will go back to the community.

A little thank you to everyone supporting the project and joining the fun. Might do more in the future if people enjoy it.
Like, share, comment! ...maybe I should double giveaway this week?
New Type of Auction Listing – Price Goes Down Over Time

Yesterday I added a new auction mechanic on my imx.center for Gods Unchained!
This is based on the Dutch auction model, like what Axie Infinity marketplace uses. The idea is simple but adds a ton of excitement:
- Each listing starts at a higher price (I set giveaway at $1000)
- Over time, the price automatically decreases
- It keeps dropping until someone buys it — or it hits the minimum price ($0.5 for all my auctions)
So you can wait for a better price… but if you wait too long, someone else might snipe it before you. This creates a mini game inside the market: how greedy can you be before it’s too late?
Where Else This Is Used in Web3?
This kind of auction is popular in some parts of Web3:
- Axie Infinity Marketplace – They’ve used Dutch auctions for Axies and land sales. It’s a fair system because it rewards fast decision-making.
- Zora Protocol – Used in NFT drops. Auctions start high and go down, and people can buy when they feel it’s worth it.
- Ethereum Name Service (ENS) – Also used time-based decreasing prices.
Why do projects use it? Because it brings:
- Price discovery — The market decides what something is really worth
- Speed — People don’t sit around forever debating; they act
- Excitement — Every drop feels like a timed race
Why It’s Good for GU Community
- Buyers don’t need to guess what price is “fair” — they wait and see what feels right
- Sellers can test demand by setting high start price and letting the market do the rest
- Listings don’t go stale — they get more attractive over time
- Reduces undercutting and spam listing wars
This model encourages fast action, strategy, and competition — all good things for a healthy trading community.
Don’t Miss the Current Auctions
I also listed some meta cards yesterday — already at solid prices. Could be cheaper tomorrow, sure… but they might be gone by then.
So if you’re hunting for deals, check them out while they’re still there. And join the giveaway this week — grab some free tokens before they're gone.
Let’s see how this little experiment turns out. If people like it, more fun stuff coming soon.
Try to list your cards this way and let me know about the results: )
Thanks,
Templar
