Telegram may have become a hub for bots and games. One latest craze is the upcoming listing of $CATI, an in-game currency of Catizen, a gaming bot built on the Telegram mini-app.
What is Catizen
Catizen, according to its Whitepaper, "is a unique, cat-themed social entertainment experience on Telegram, blending playful interactions with the power of the TON Blockchain. As a revolutionary gaming bot, Catizen not only simplifies Web3 access but also makes mobile payments seamless, transforming the way users engage with decentralized technologies."¹
Currently, the game is playable on the TON and Mantle networks. The project has plans to have multi-chain support.
Per CMC, Catizen aims to become a mini-app center or a hub for Web 3 activities, "combining the unique features of Launchpool with short videos and e-commerce to attract and engage users through gamification and strategic Play-to-Airdrop initiatives."²

Project Highlights
Various milestones have already been completed and as of this month, the project has earned over $26 million in game revenues. Accordingly, over 1 million of the 37 million players are paying gamers which per Binance research is "unprecedented among Web3 games"
The project expects to open the Launchpool and Game Center for public participation in the next quarter. It also looks to expand its gameplay and earning opportunities by integrating 5 Launchpool projects and 20 games into the Catizen Game Center.

A few days ago, Catizen became the 59th project on Binance Launchpool. 9% of its native utility & governance token, CATI, is allocated to reward eligible participants. Further details of the Launchpool are as follows:

- Eligibility: KYC (some regions or countries are restricted)
- Launchpool Total Reward: 90 million CATI
- Token Listing: 20th September 10:00 (UTC)

- 85% of the Launchpool rewards or 76.5 million CATI (capped at 19.125 million daily) are allotted for this pool.
