Beyond The Hallways & Windows

Mom and I had a quieter Saturday night, although her insomnia set in she barely had a shut eye. Yep, she checked in again at another hospital a little farther from home on Friday.

To get a breather, I went for a quick stroll along the hallway yesterday morning (before 10). I was yearning for some sunshine and purposely to take a peek at how things are outside.

Sighting the sun rays got me excited. The day is bright!

Looking through the windows, I was glad the place looked normal and it was as if there had been no typhoon on the previous day.

There seems to be renovations going on at the sports complex as there are trucks, crane, and such.

Moving closer to the balcony, I noticed the reflections of the mountainside, buildings and others on the hospital windows and of course, I had to capture it.

But then my legs weakened when my eyes caught the man sitting on the scaffoldings. "What are you even doing there without any safety gear on!" I was yelling (in my mind).

The greener mountainside looked refreshing.

But the man in the distance gave me a fright.

He may be the bravest being in the universe but I think he is being suicidal (or perhaps I am just paranoid, lol!)

I went away from there because my legs were wobbling. The scene wasn't what I wished to see on such a beautiful morning. Took one more shot of the outside and hurried back to my Mom's room.

Around mid-afternoon (3 pm), I was out again. Discreetly captured a single pic of the corridors as there was a CCTV somewhere in the corner.

The photo looks like it has been manipulated to have a double exposure effect, lol!

Got this snapshot through a half-open window. The hospital grounds appear calm.

Savored this view for a short while before rushing to the nearest convenience store for I remembered Mom needed some sweet juice as her glucose level dropped and colored foods are a no-no so chocolate is off-limits for her.

So yep, this room has become my office, hotel, dining and whatever else. Hoping our stay won't be long...

Or I will be writing more about hallways and such, lol!

By the way, could you throw in a guess which floor are we? A surprise might come your way if you're right😉
