Miracles Exist…

You see the statement 'Nobody knows tomorrow'? I totally agree with it, because nobody really knows what tomorrow holds, if we did, we’d probably worry less.
A debate sprang up years ago about whether examination is the true test of knowledge. Some people said yes, some said no. I have always been a firm believer that examination is not the true test of knowledge.

Most of the people I know who turned out to be great weren't the brightest in class.
I'll share a little story with you all.
I had a classmate from my High school; let's call him George, who always came last in class. He was slow, performed poorly and was weird. Staring at this boy, you'd be forced to feel bad not because of his current situation, but just thinking about his future alone.
All my teachers were scared for his future and they tried their best to help him. His parents were called several times to school because everyone was genuinely worried about him.
George's poor performance in school increased greatly and he was forced to repeat twice, but this barely changed anything, and at some point, my school gave up on him.
Many years passed, and for some reason, no one knew George’s whereabout. We didn't know if he furthered his education or gave up on education completely. Like a shadow, George disappeared, leaving no trace.

After so many years, I bumped into George at a conference on Saturday and George was a speaker at the conference. George is now an engineer!! A successful engineer working with a big engineering firm.
I saw George and all we could do was smile, laugh, hug, and exchange knowing glances. I was speechless.
I had so many questions in my heart to ask but I would have been damned to say anything.
George looked at me and he knew what I was thinking and he said, "IB, it's God oo". I looked at him with so much amazement, and I didn't know if I should laugh or cry because I was standing in front of a miracle.
George was a miracle, a big miracle, one I read in books and watched in movies. I was happy to be in front of this miracle.
We couldn't help but giggle every time we thought about something from the past.

Upon making this post, I am filled with so much gratitude, beyond what words can describe.
How does one’s life change instantly without a trace? How can one's story be rewritten? Truly, the thoughts God has for us are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us a future and hope.
I love this miracle and I pray that it remains permanent.
To everyone reading this post, your current situation might not make sense at the moment, but someday it will, and when it does, you’ll be amazed. For now hang in there😃
