I'm Back in Splinterlands! Here's My Plan (Subject to Change!)

Diving Back In (and Kinda Obsessed Lately!)
Alright folks, for anyone who saw my last post, you know I'm back in Splinterlands after a while. And yeah, these past few days? Let's just say I've been glued to the screen! Seriously, I think I've spent way too much time battling already. One thing I'm still kinda slow at is picking my teams. I overthink it way too much. Hopefully, the more I play, the faster I'll get at just throwing a decent lineup together without my brain melting.
My (Hopefully Achievable) Goal: Silver 1 (and Why I'm Staying Put)
So, I've been thinking about setting some goals for myself this upcoming season, and I'm aiming for Silver 1. It looks like I get a better multiplier for Glint while in Silver 1 than in Gold 3. To be honest, grinding up to Gold for that little bit of extra SPS per win (0.25 doesn't seem like a lot to me right now) doesn't feel worth losing out on that Glint multiplier. So yeah, Silver 1 seems like the sweet spot for now, good rewards and more Glint!
Glint: Straight to the Card Draws!
My plan is to just use all the Glint I earn to buy those card draws. I want to try and build up a good base of common and rare cards first. Once I have a decent collection of those, maybe I'll start looking at buying specific cards in the shop to upgrade the ones I use the most. But for now, it's all about getting more cards through those Glint draws.
Stuck in a Rut (My High-Level Card Problem)
One thing I've noticed about my battles so far is that I keep using the same old summoners and monsters over and over again. It's not that I don't have other cards, it's just that the ones I always pick are at a higher level. They're the ones I invested in way back when. So, even if a different card might be a better strategic choice for a specific battle, I usually just go with my high-level comfort picks. I know this isn't the best way to play and it's probably making my gameplay pretty predictable. Hopefully, getting more new cards through Glint will help me break out of this habit and try some different strategies.
One Last Thing...
Just a quick heads-up: all these plans and thoughts are based on the game as it is right now, without the new Conclave Arcana set in rotation. Once those new cards drop and the meta shifts, who knows what will happen! Everything I've talked about here is definitely subject to change once Conclave Arcana arrives and shakes things up. We'll see how it goes!
