Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The International break is still ongoing as club football is expected to return on the 13th of this month which is next weekend. Today's post will focus on Marcus Rashford, the Englishman who joined Barcelona from Manchester United on loan, who has somehow received criticism from some Barcelona fans. The Englishman was called up for the England national team for the International break and has gotten some minutes with the team.

Now there has been some criticism about the Englishman's performance since the start of the season, which I find a little strange that complaints are already being made by fans about his performance quality. The season has just begun, and only three matches have been played in the league, in which Marcus Rashford has yet to score or assist a goal within the minutes he has played in the league. It is important to notice that Rashford is coming back from an injury, plus he is just playing in a new country and league, so I am not expecting him to throw a 10/10 performance in just three matches that he has played in the league.

The football season is still long which means there is still time for the Englishman to improve on his style of play and help the team to win. We have seen players move from Manchester United and turn out great in a new club, which is why I am convinced we are going to see the best of Rashford this season under Hansi Flick. The manager did it with Raphinha, who many Barcelona fans wanted him to leave the club last year, and he almost left, but Hansi encouraged the Brazilian to stay at the club, and we all saw how Raphinha played with all his heart for the team last season.

During the summer, when the Rashford move was reaching its final point, I mentioned in one of my posts that Rashford has to give it everything he's got in the tank for this team to convince the club to permanently purchase him from Manchester United next summer window. The Englishman's current market value is 47 to 50 million euros, which has dropped because of his performance over the past couple of years. This is why he needs to bring his A game to the team to convince Barcelona to permanently bring him from Manchester United.

Barcelona, on the other hand, may purchase Rashford, but their stands might change in the future if any promising name comes up in the next window or a La Masia player emerges from that position like the way Lamine Yamal did in the last two seasons. It's all about time, like I have said earlier, and I am certain Rashford will give his best, like I have said earlier. The Champions League squad registration and date for the matches have been set, and I am looking forward to seeing Rashford and Barcelona excel in the competition. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
