5 Minute Freewrite - Norm

In the past, everyone strives to come into office early before their bosses arrive, but as time goes by, there is a dramatic change in things.

Instead of coming earlier, everyone is effectively late for work and some even come in 1 hour after the official start work time. This results in very inefficient work culture. When such lateness becomes the norm, lateness will be see in almost everywhere and in all forms.

People come in late for meetings, turning in work reports late etc. Everything is no longer on time and now we even have to tolerate lateness.

Meetings cannot start without full attendance, meeting times push out etc. And end up, everyone goes home later and later. When this occurs, a vicious cycle will be form, where the late from a day carries over to the next day.

Where has punctuality disappeared?
