On Saturday, October 18, 2025, Hive Students Hub achieved yet another significant milestone. The northern region is one place that is deprived in terms of knowledge in Blockchain and everything surrounding it. Therefore, there is a need for intense sensitization in the region because of the great potential it carries.

Hive Students Hub, a great community under the Hive Blockchain, saw the need to sensitize students, specifically University Students, for them to have in-depth Knowledge about Blockchain and Web 3. We therefore held the maiden edition of the Hive Tech Summit at the University for Development Studies in Tamale. This program brought together most Tertiary students and graduates under one roof to learn about Web 3 and Blockchain to equip them with other skills and knowledge.

The Program was blessed with four great tech and Web 3 experts who made great delivery speeches in selling out the good name of Blockchain and Web 3 to the audience. The beautiful aspect of the program was the fact that a lot of females attended the program and showed interest in Web 3.

Before the day of the program, as we know, Web 3 is Hive, we created a link and shared it among the participants to create Hive accounts before attending the program. This made it easier when the last speaker, who was in the person of @abdul01, the Founder of Hive Students Hub, navigated around the Hive Blockchain interface for the participants.

They are into the training of young people in Blockchain. He opened the program by generally explaining what Blockchain is and how it operates. He also spoke about the decentralization aspect of Blockchain and everything one needs to know. It was quite an interesting speech and very interactive.

The next speaker was called Abdul-Rashid Lansah Adam. He is a Digital Entrepreneur and a product designer. His aim was generally to inform the audience of the fact that one can divert to other areas to learn new skills and make a living. He emphasized that he had offered a health-related course but had ended up in the technological industry. It was nice seeing the sudden change of area of study.
