It's another amazing week, and you know what that means - it's the 17th edition of the weekly prompt to spark your creativity and get those ideas flowing in. Hive Student Connect is a community where students on Hive share their blogs. It is a vibrant space for Hive students to engage, learn, connect, and collaborate, fostering growth and development.

We all assume a lot about others; so there are lots of assumptions that people make about us, whether funny, sometimes, frustrating and other times, surprising - and the truth is that some of these assumptions are always accurate. This prompt invites you to share what people think they know about you as a student, and let us know if those assumptions are correct or incorrect.

For instance, people may assume you are always too serious because you hardly talk; meanwhile, they haven’t seen you speak or become playful when around the right people. Or maybe your classmates think you are doing well financially because you dress neatly and do not beg or take loans, when in reality, you are just mindful of how you spend and budget, which makes you a good financial person. Some may even assume you’re brilliant simply because you sit in the front row every time, or that you read all the time, but you know yourself - always that last-minute studying student.

You can talk about an assumption someone had about you and how it made you feel. Were they right? Were they wrong? What did that teach you about people’s perception of you versus who you truly are? Make it honest and relatable, so we can all enjoy each other while we share those beautiful assumptions.
