Post Onboarding Webinar and Some Updates

Last April 10, 2022 an Onboarding Webinar was hosted by @chillwithshanna and @indayclara.

A reminder to do your part in spreading the word about Hive. And if you aren't good at public relations, at least do something useful within the ecosystem that benefits the entire community in some way.

If you notice the funds stacked on @hiveph wallet, most of it is stored as HBD staked. The recent change in 20% APR returns made this income generation even more valuable.

The current expenses the community fund has includes compensating @jazzhero for the bot maintenance and other technical work behind the scenes. There's no fixed budget on where the income generated will be spent on as there are no current active programs that the community is paying for.

Our income generation is mostly reliant on delegators willing to increase the pool and of course the post being paid out from what this account earns. The stake earned is reinvested into other community programs within Hive and then used to upvote other users as well.

To anyone curious how the funds are being used, you can just check out the wallet transactions the community accounts been doing. You can also check who the beneficiaries of the posts this account is distributing to. That's the beauty of the blockchain in terms of transparency.

There's an emphasis on doing this show as a volunteer work and as much as possible I'd like to have incentives in place for those that put in the effort to make this community have value.

We're currently brainstorming the tier reward system focused on rewarding members that are active in the community but that's for another update some other time.
