Love remains under the grass
Love remains under the grass

Love remains under the grass

The blue sky is slowly descending, The smell of the earth fills my mind.

I am lying quietly on the green grass, Someone's form seems to be playing in my mind.

The sun is soft, the air is sweet, Something very personal comes to mind.

A house in the distance, a white tin roof, Your longing rings in my memory.

Do you know, in the smell of this grass, Your touch still remains forever.

One day you said, "Come and sit down," That very word rings in my heart.

The shadow was gentle next to the dust of my feet, We were there, the world was sleepy.

You said, "Love is not easy," I said with a smile, but that's what life is all about.

The light played golden on the leaves of that tree, It fell on your hair, the scent of the nettles was in the air.

Then it seemed that time had stopped, The moment seemed to be mixed with eternity.

Now I am back in that field alone, The sun is just setting on the edge of the earth.

I see in the grass, the old shadow, As if you were walking, smiling, coming to Maya.

The grass was soft under your feet, In my eyes, morning was already here.

When you smiled, it seemed like morning had come, Love meant that you had a fair light then.

Your name still floats in the air, Hidden in the smell of grass, in your breath.

The sky is blue, but my heart is gray, You are not there, only memories keep coming and going.

I understand that love is exactly like that, It is somewhere, yet it cannot be caught by kindness.

As soon as you touch it, it becomes a shadow and disappears, Yet it plays a soft melody in the depths of my heart.

Today, I put my hand on the grass and say quietly, You were there, that is why I am still alive.

The cloud floats, the sun sets, yet love remains in the scent of the grass.

The ground where you walked slowly one day, Today I lie down silently on that ground.

The dust of your feet may still be on it, That's why my heart still trembles in the night of that memory.

Love may mean living like this, Where you are not, you are still silently drawn.

Under the sky, in the grass, You are still immortal in my soul.
