Howdy to you all, my fellow Midnight Owls,

Here is the new prompt for the Midnight Owls:

Write about the Scariest horror movie you ever watched?

In the advent of the upcoming Halloween on the 31st of October, it would not be a bad idea if the midnight owls talk about the scariest movies you have ever watched. It could be any movie or TV show you watched and found something scary or frightening because of a certain action. Talk about the movie or show with the use of at least 400 word count and include as many images from the movie as you like. Let your review of the movie run as wide as you like; we do not mind, and make it as scary as you like.

Before I talk about the scariest horror movie I ever watched, first, here are some highlights from the previous prompt:

Now the Scariest Movie I've ever watched.

I am not much of a horror movie fan, which is why it might sound strange when I say the scariest movie I have ever watched has to be Stranger Things. The show spooked me out a little bit because at least I did not know what I was probably getting myself into. Stranger Things has to be the first movie on Netflix where I did not bother to read the synopsis of the movie before clicking on the play button. I saw a show on Netflix, and I said Let me give it a shot.

You can imagine the shock on my face when I began to see some supernatural horror happenings in the show. The shock on my face was like Oh, I did not see this one coming and that is just the thing about the movie. When I think I could make due with the supernatural horror, then they rope me in with more suspense. Well, that is the spice that comes with horror movies, but this time the suspense in Stranger Things was weigh above my pay grade.

IMDB

Despite the spooky nature of the movie, there are still some pretty interesting characters in the movie, like Dustin, Eleven, and others, that make you want to know how exactly their stories turn out in the movie, just because of the friendship, courage, and emotional rollercoaster that keeps going on and on in the series. I got spooked out, and I only ended up watching season 1. I guess what made it worse for me was watching at night as well. That gives a more dramatic effect to the horror movies being watched.

What was your horror movie experience? Let the midnight owls know.
