Reliving the Fun of College Days 2024 | CBA Days at Ayala Malls Central Bloc

A big hello to you again, Hive!

How is everyone doing? It's been almost 5 months since my last blog and I hope you haven't forgotten about me just yet. 😂 I apologize for the hiatus. wow

College really kept me busy and struggling both physically and mentally. It explains why I have been inactive here. But of course, aside from the intoxicating pile of tasks and long to-do lists — college also brings beautiful memories. I would like to share the celebration of our CBA Days at Ayala Malls Central Bloc.

In the middle of the second semester, our school celebrated the annual college days. This is 3 days straight of no classes with different departments organizing events and programs for students as it serves as a break from the academic responsibilities while enjoying and building bonds between students.

Our department, the College of Business and Accountancy, decided to celebrate our CBA Days at the Activity Center of Ayala Malls Central Bloc.

DAY 1

The opening day was a blast as we had the opening program and ribbon cutting with special guests; PBA legend Dondon Hontiveros and trending social media couple, Abby and Patweck. Everyone was ecstatic seeing our guests celebrating with us on our opening day.

The day continued with different sub-orgs' events — live bands, games, and raffles. There were many food stalls inside the activity center. My friends and I went to support different food stalls of friends and seniors.

DAY 2

The second day was the most unforgettable for me. Our organization, JPIA, was the one who organized the events in the morning. We had JPIA Got Talent, Accounting Quiz Bowl, and Minute To Win It.

We came early to support our friend, Liona, who joined JPIA Got Talent. We also enjoyed watching the Accounting Quiz Bowl (especially when we tried answering the questions ourselves but ended up wrong anyway 🤪) and supported our seniors and batch mates. Minute to Win It was also as fun as the other two as we cheered for our classmates as they completed tasks in a minute.

The highlight of the JPIA Day, I would say, was when our teacher performed Bang Bang by Nicki Minaj. It really made everyone jump and sing with him and ultimately completed our JPIA Day experience.

We are also very proud because our friend, Liona, totally slayed her performance and won second place!

The second day continued with raffles and games from another sub-org from the CBA Department. The second day was definitely a blast!

DAY 3

The highlight of Day 3 was the CBA Ambassador and Ambassadress. Every sub-org sent 2 pairs as representatives as they battle for the crown. Many prepared balloons and tarpaulins showing support for their candidates. Everyone was screaming and cheering every time their candidates made an appearance.

We waved our blue balloons and made sure the candidates knew we supported them all the way. The program lasted for hours and, in the end, we were triumphant as both the newly crowned CBA Ambassador and Ambassadress came from JPIA. The other two candidates from our org also secured their places.

After the program, which also signified the end of the very successful and fun CBA Days, my friends and I decided to stay a little longer and had a picnic. We talked about the recently concluded event and how we enjoyed every single moment. It was a perfect night and the perfect way of ending and celebrating college days.
