This is similar to a traditional turn-based board game but will require daily participation because it is a play-by-post game. If there are less than 3 players signed up after 24 hours of this post going up, the starting of the game may be postponed.

The gameboard
There are 5 inter-connected hallways (columns) in which the players will move (the tiled spaces).
At each end of each hallway is a trough from which the balls will enter and exit the hallways.
Hallways have recesses (notches in the brown walls) into which players can move to avoid being crushed by a passing ball.
The troughs at the top and bottom of the gameboard are connected by a trough running up the left side of the gameboard.
The trough on the right side is not used in this game, but might be used in future versions of the game.
Rules
The game begins with all 5 balls in the 5 troughs at the top of the board. I'll call them 'ejection spouts'.
Players start in the starting space at the bottom right of the gameboard.
Players begin by rolling a D6 or use my online tool to determine the number of actions they will have for their turn.
Moving from the Start area into the hallway counts as 1 action and each move to another tile is another action.
Players can move forwards, backwards, stay where they are or any combination of those actions.
Wall recesses are shaded, but are still the same tile, so moving into a recess does NOT require an additional action.
Please note that the maximum number of players that can fit into any one recess at the same time is 3 players.
At the ends of walls where 2 tiles meet there are also safe zones for players to wait just outside of the ball's path.
Players who manage to wind their way through all 5 hallways will need 1 action to move from the hallway to the exit area.
Players that get crushed will need to restart from the start area.
At the end of the game day, I will use the coin toss function for each ball (starting from right to left) to determine if the ball is successfully launched or if it fails to launch.
If a ball fails to launch, it stays where it is.
If a ball launches successfully, it will roll down the hall, crushing any players in its way, then enter the bottom trough, turn the corner and pause along the trough on the left side of the gameboard until the following day.
The following game day, after the players have moved, I will once again use the coin toss function for any balls in the ejection spouts (right to left).
Then the balls from the left side trough will move to the top, looking for a vacant ejection spout for them to fill. Each ball will fill the first VACANT ejection spout it reaches.
However, as they pass balls that are filling an ejection spout, they will knock those balls out into the hallways until they reach the first vacant spot that WAS available (before they knocked out the other balls).
The balls knocked into hallways will roll across the gameboard also crushing any players in their way and also pause in the trough on the left side of the board until the next day.
That cycle repeats daily until the game ends.
New players can enter the game at any time and will begin in the start space. Choose an un-used player number and post your actions.
Weapons
There are none in this game.
Player actions
Each player will announce their daily action(s) in the replies to each daily post.
I will update the board with new player positions and ball positions for the next day's play.
The object of the game is to reach the exit.
