This time, I walked around the Sambil shopping center while waiting for my wife, who was making a “quick” purchase there.

When she tells me to wait for her because she's going to buy something quickly, I know that means anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours, so I looked for a shady place to park and got out of the car to walk around.

I walked about three blocks and took several photographs of the area as I walked through the streets of the neighborhood, noticing the vegetation that adorns the main avenue. It has several trees that provide good shade, including tall palm trees, which is important because it is a residential area with tall buildings and heavy traffic, and the vegetation gives a feeling of peace and helps to decontaminate the environment.

I passed by a dance academy and a quiet café that looked very pleasant. Despite the large number of vehicles that pass through the area, I found it to be a very suitable place to live because of the tranquility that permeates it.

As you approach the shopping center, traffic becomes heavier, making it difficult to find a parking spot. For this reason, I took a detour and parked under a leafy tree on La Concordia Avenue, which was the best option at that time of the afternoon on such a hot day.

These short walks on Wednesdays have helped me to be a little more observant, to notice things that normally go unnoticed, such as the color of the sky, the cloud formations, the types of trees and flowers, and many other things.

Paseo de miércoles por la tarde

Saludos estimados amigos de esta comunidad @wednesdaywalk, espero se encuentren muy bien con salud y bienestar en este hermoso día.
Esta vez caminé por los alrededores del centro comercial Sambil, mientras esperaba a mi esposa que estaba haciendo una compra "rapidita" en ese sitio.

Cuando ella me dice que la espere porque va rápido a comprar algo, yo se que eso es un lapso de tiempo, entre hora y media y dos horas, así que busqué un lugar sombreado para estacionar y salí del carro a caminar por los alrededores.

Caminé cerca de tres cuadras y tomé varias fotografías de la zona mientras recorría las calles del sector y me fijé en la vegetación que adorna la avenida principal. Tiene varios árboles que dan buena sombra incluyendo elevadas palmeras, lo cual es importante porque es una zona residencial, con altos edificios y mucho tráfico y la vegetación da sensación de paz y ayuda a descontaminar el ambiente.

Pasé por el frente de una academia de danza y una cafetería poco concurrida pero se veía muy agradable. A pesar de la gran cantidad de vehículos que transita la zona, me pareció un lugar muy adecuado para vivir por la tranquilidad que se respira.

A medida que se acerca al centro comercial, el flujo de tránsito se hace más intenso y por eso es tan difícil conseguir un lugar para estacionar. Por esa razón hice un rodeo y me estacioné debajo de un frondoso árbol en la avenida la concordia, que, a esa hora de la tarde con el día tan caluroso, era la mejor opción.

Estos cortos paseos de los miércoles me han ayudado a ser un poco más observador, a contemplar cosas que normalmente pasan desapercibidas como el color del cielo, las formaciones de las nubes, los tipos de árboles y de flores y muchas cosas más.
