Greetings dear fellow members of the memories community @throwbackthursday, I wish you all the best on this TBT Thursday.

This morning the memories jumped out. While I was looking for the material to present this post to you, I found these pictures from 2019, where several fathers and mothers of families appear, after receiving training in what we call in the church: parenting school and I said to myself: this is my TBT for today.

My wife and I belong to the family ministry of my parish and at that time we were actively participating in this group of talks, aimed at fathers and mothers of children who receive the catechesis of children and youth.

The purpose of this group of talks is to orient the parents and initiate them in the knowledge of some important topics, which will serve as a tool for them, in turn, to help their children when they have any doubts in their catechesis.

The topics taught are varied and dynamic and they participate actively because each one applies it to their life as a family. They were always eager for more and that is good because it awakened in them that spirit of learning that we always have hidden.

Nobody teaches us how to be parents, we learn through experience, that's why we collaborate in giving them that little push so that they can continue on their own.

We are currently waiting to start an upcoming workshop for parents when catechesis begins again.

Recordando aquella escuela para padres en el 2019

Saludos estimados colegas de la comunidad de los recuerdos @throwbackthursday, les deseo lo mejor en este jueves de TBT.

Esta mañana saltaron los recuerdos. Mientras buscaba el material para presentarles esta publicación, encontré estas fotografías del año 2019, donde aparecen varios padres y madres de familia, luego de recibir la formación en lo que llamamos en la iglesia: escuela para padres y me dije: este es mi TBT de hoy.

Mi esposa y yo pertenecemos a la pastoral familiar de mi parroquia y en ese entonces participábamos activamente en este grupo de charlas, dirigidas a los padres y madres de los niños que reciben la catequesis de niños y de jóvenes.

La finalidad de este grupo de charlas es orientar a los padres e iniciarlos en el conocimiento de algunos temas importantes, que les sirvan de herramienta para que ellos, a su vez, ayuden a sus hijos cuando se les presente alguna duda en su catequesis.

Los temas que se les imparte son variados y dinámicos y ellos participan de manera activa porque cada quien lo aplica a su vida como familia. Siempre quedaban con ganas de más y eso es bueno porque se les despertaba ese espíritu de aprendizaje que siempre tenemos escondido.

Nadie nos enseña a ser padres, eso se aprende con la experiencia, por eso nosotros colaboramos en darles ese pequeño empujón para que ellos sigan por su cuenta.

Actualmente estamos a la espera de iniciar un próximo taller para padres cuando se inicie la catequesis nuevamente.
