Happy Easter Celebration to You All: What Easter Means to Me

Happy Easter, everyone! We are in the Easter period, and this usually means different things to different people. But to me, Easter has a lot of meanings to be and it is not just a public holiday or a season to eat fried/roasted chicken and rice with family members. To me, Easter period has always meant a season of love, hope, assurance, restoration and the chance for a new beginning. In a world that feels so shattered and unsettled most of the time, Easter always purrs quietly to my soul and spirit that no matter the situation and how bad things might be, there is always restoration on the other side.
Another thing that the Easter period means to me is sacrifice, just like the one that the one Messiah showed to the world out of love. It is about reminiscing about and thinking that the love he showed was not not a mere word but it was put into action. Looking at this type of grace, no one really deserved it but it was given freely, we all received it as a sign of second chance—fresh beginning and the beauty of rising after fallen off. The Easter season always reminds me to forgive, slow down, be grateful, reflect and slow down.
Easter is not only about what has occurred ages ago, I will say it is about all the things that is still very much possible in our lives this very moment. So as we commemorate with that nice meal that you have prepared for yourself and your family, with the laughter of reassurance on our faces, I challenge you to take a deep and ask yourself: what can I bodily say Easter is to me? Because Easter to me is a peaceful moment to always remember that even at my darkest moment in life, there is still hope and light will still shine on my path.
So my fellow readers and Hivers, happy Easter to us all once again. And may this period bring to us more peace, more life, more love, renewed hope and divine resurrection
