Ecency: More Than Just an App, a Community

When I first came across Ecency, it was over seven years ago, it was known as "eSteem" then, but a few months ago when I returned to Hive, it had gotten the name Ecency, I had a feeling that it was another frontend, just like the other tool that we usually usually use to navigate through app, but as times goes on, I discovered that Ecency is more than a tool, it has become a platform on it own where we tye creators connect easily and have a lot sense of belonging where we can nature our Idea in the digital space.

Personally, in my creative journey on Hive since I returned, Ecency is more or less a good ally for me. Talking about the mobile app, which I have on my phone and I carry about like a notebook, always ready to take down what I have to write anywhere and anytime, the web app is not left out because it is well structured and also feels like my writing desk. Both functions work so well, and depending on where I am, my network, or which one I decide that I want to use, I always switch between the two because, for me, the mobile app has this naturalness and is very easy to navigate through as it speaks to my spontaneity.

Yeah, talking about the rewards system on Ecency, this is one of the things I like most about it. Though the point that we are being given when ever we perform any activity on the app might look just like points but personally, it carries a recognition weight. They shows that our readers or someone sees a value to me our activities. Even though there is a lot of content being created daily, as small as that token is, it tells me that my work matters and that I should keep pushing forward. That token sometimes encourages me, tells me how valid I am, and gives me motivation to do more because it is not just a digital currency; it can be used to promote my posts.

Talking about the Ecency wallet, they have made it very easy to swap, convert, delegate, transfer, stake, or perform any activity with your available token, and you can add and see the worth of your tokens easily.

There is also this thing that I see as special about the Ecency community, unlike other platforms where users do not interact or talk much. It has built a full community full of people working together and supporting each other's work through constant notifications. People usually grow together on this app by engaging actively with one another's posts, and this is something I found so rare. The way people connect and support each other is real.

And this write-up will not be complete without me giving honors to whom honor is due. Much kudos to all the team behind the development of this great app, @good-karma and the rest of the @ecency team. Their constant work to make sure that the interface can be used any time of the day.
