Beer Saturday in Aachen

Hello everyone,

We are winding down the day here in Aachen, enjoying a refreshing local beer together with @detlev, @borniet, @louis88, @masterswatch, @roelandp, @rivalzzz, @dandegrischdine @lordbutterfly. 🍻 It feels great to relax after such a full day of activities and conversations.

Earlier the weather looked a bit uncertain, but luckily it cleared up just in time, which made everything much more pleasant. Sharing stories, exchanging knowledge, and connecting with people in person has been such a highlight of this experience. Hivefest has really opened some new doors to me. Learning building friendships and strengthening the community spirit—and today was a perfect example of that.

Since this is my very first Hivefest, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. Now I can honestly say it has been more than worth the trip. I picked up so much new and valuable information, from technical information to creative use cases like NFTs, and hearing directly from the OGs on Hive has really inspired me. The variety of perspectives and experiences everyone brings makes the whole event was totally worth it.

What makes it even better is the informal side, sitting down over a drink, eating AMAZING (@sunsea thanks for that) food sharing personal stories and simply enjoying the company of people who are just as passionate about Hive as I am.

I’m already looking forward to the next Hivefest here in Europe. If this year was this good next year will be even better, if not more. Cheers to many more! 🍺.
