synopsis:

The Brave Line is a contemporary romance written by Kate Stewart. The story is narrated in 288 pages and its first edition was published in March 31, 2017. The story is narrated in first person by the main characters, alternating between the masculine main character and the female character. Even though it is presented as a romance story with more than one really spicy chapters, the reality is much more profound than that, it is a story about police issues, selfsteem and surviving but overall how to overcome disgrace.

Finally, Is this a story for everyone? Noup, this story is perfect for those who likes romance but not a cheesy one and those that don't be disturbe by the +18 scenes and violence itself. I really LOVED this book, because at the beggining I thought it would emulated Fifty shades of gray, but page after page it proved me wrong. the spicy moments decreased while you're moving forward in the story, is not the main issue and didn't have the focus of importance that lately romance book for adults give it. So, if you're not that susceptible about this issues previusly mention, then you are going to enjoy this story for sure.

Aunque se presenta como una historia romántica con varios capítulos realmente picantes, la realidad es mucho más profunda: trata sobre problemas policiales, autoestima y supervivencia, pero sobre todo sobre cómo superar la desgracia.

Finalmente, ¿es una historia para todos? No, esta historia es perfecta para quienes disfrutan del romance sin ser cursi y para quienes no se dejan intimidar por las escenas para mayores de 18 años ni por la violencia en sí. Me encantó este libro, porque al principio pensé que emularía Cincuenta sombras de Grey, pero página tras página me demostró lo contrario. Los momentos picantes disminuyen a medida que avanza la historia; no es el problema principal y no tiene la importancia que le dan últimamente los libros románticos para adultos. Así que, si no eres tan susceptible a los problemas mencionados, seguro que disfrutarás de esta historia.
