This review is about the tutorial for the first use and phone pairing of the Vertuo Next machine. The tutorial starts by guiding the user to rinse and clean the water tank and lid before filling it with fresh drinking water. Then, the user is instructed to put the water tank in place and make sure it is properly attached, as well as ensure the capsule container and the cup supporter are in place. After plugging the power cord into the electrical outlet and closing and locking the machine to turn it on, the light will blink while the machine is heating up. It will take approximately 30 seconds when the light becomes steady and the machine is ready.

The user is then instructed to place a container of at least one liter under the coffee outlet and make sure that the machine is still locked and that no capsule is inserted. The user is then instructed to press the coffee button three times within 2 seconds to start rinsing. The rinsing procedure will complete automatically and should take less than 2 minutes before the rinsing process begins and water starts to flow. This operation may take up to seven minutes and will stop automatically when the cycle is complete when the light becomes steady.

To pair the Vertuo Next machine, the user must download the Nespresso app on their mobile device, make sure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled, and launch the app. From the Nespresso app homepage, the user must click on the machine icon and pair the machine by following the instructions via the app. It is recommended that the user always update the app to the latest version. After following these steps, the machine is now ready to use.
