The Quangsheng No.62 Low Angle Jack plane is a mid-range option for woodworking enthusiasts. Straight out of the box, the plane has a well-machined body with sturdy handles and brass machine screws. The low angle design allows for quick blade changes and adjusting the position of the front sole. However, the out-of-the-box performance was slightly disappointing as it struggled with tearout and produced thicker shavings. With some minor adjustments and a few minutes of honing, the plane's performance improved significantly, producing thinner and smoother shavings. Overall, with a bit of work, the Quangsheng No.62 Low Angle Jack plane can be a viable option for woodworking projects.
