Mr. Coffee 2129512 is a 5-cup coffee maker that I use almost daily to make coffee for my wife and I. It doesn't make the best cup of coffee, but it does an adequate job. I use a paper filter instead of a permanent filter because I think the results are better. I use Peace Coffee's Organic and Fair Trade Birchwood Breakfast Blend, a medium roast with toasty and balanced notes. I add one tablespoon of coffee per 6 to 8 ounces of water, and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor and reduce bitterness. It took seven minutes and fourteen seconds to brew the whole pot, and the coffee maker brews coffee to about 168 degrees Fahrenheit. Overall, Mr. Coffee 2129512 is a satisfactory coffee maker that I use almost daily.
