Offering An Early Sleeper An Offer He Couldn't Reject

I got his favourite comedy movie, some tiger nuts drink and of course my humble self as a great companion. These are things I knew he could not resist no matter the time on the clock. We ended up keeping each other company until past midnight.

That was my husband and I on one of those nights I had beaded work to finish overnight. For some reasons, unlike other nights that I craved to do my work alone , I wanted a company, someone I could gist with while I work and who was in a better position to be my gist partner for the night if not my husband. Only that there is a but. While I'm a certified night owl , he is an early sleeper.

Without telling him my plans, or what's the deal, I made him some offers he could not reject. We ended up watching his favorite comedy movie, we laughed, gist, sipping tiger nut milk drinks while I completed my bead work on the side.

Before he knew what was up, it was 2 am, he goes like " I can't believe I'm still up until now, what have you done to me?"

I just smiled and responded, "do not despair, tomorrow is the weekend, you can make up for the lost sleep as much as you want. At that point, missions accomplished as I was feeling sleepy 🥱 myself. We headed towards our bed and in a few minutes we both drifted into lala land.

How can you convince an early sleeper to stay awake at night?

Just like what I did above, the task is quite simple. Pay attention to the things they like, without saying a word, make them an offer they can't resist. Be a great host and interesting companion. Keep the night very interesting, fun and entertaining and before they know what's up, it might be getting to day break.
