Your Hive Power goals for the rest of 2025 - plus strategies

Growing one's stake on Hive should be treated as pure business and that should mean having a good plan for it. The year 2025 is gradually winding down. One thing each user on Hive that has a long-term outlook should do is to project where they want to end the year. And having written about 1 million Hive Power as a group in 2 years, it all makes sense to think about what we could do before 2026 starts. Hence we all could do well with Hive staking goals for the remaining days and months of 2025.

So here is what I will quickly cover in this presentation

• Your current Hive power
• Your Hive power goal for 2025
• Practical ways to hit your goal

Note: If you are currently powering down, it would be best to consider stopping as soon as possible before working on this plan and suggestions.

Now let us start with the first two items on the list

Call for Action - current and projected HP

I invite you to take the following actions now:

1. Screenshot your current Hive power and show us in the comment section. And..
2. Write how much Hive power you wish to end the year 2025 with.
3. Write the remaining HP you wish to accumulate before 2025 ends.
4. Write your strategies.

Note: Your goal should be practical and attainable given your current situation. Your Hive power goals should include earned and staked Hive power. Each week, we will make an update post to measure and track your performance.

Below is my own screenshot and goal

Current HP: 11,650 HP
Projected HP for 2025: 13,000 HP
Goal to pursue: 13,000 - 11,650 = 1350 hp
Strategies: Weekly power-up, Minimum 3 quality posts per week, swap other crypto to power up, buy Hive with fiat, etc

Hive Power building strategies

For anyone setting a long-term goal of building their Hive power, there are a number of ways to achieve that goal. Consider some of the following 5 ways.

1. Buy Hive with Fiat and stake

This is perhaps the easiest of all methods and a great place to start. You could decide to set aside some money and use them to buy Hive to power up. This also has to be planned if you are to be consistent. Perhaps, try a method of saving some money each week, or month as the case may be to use and buy Hive. The main goal here is to do it consistently and not so much about the amount.

So if you are a salary worker or a business person, you know your income and expenditures too. You could isolate a certain amount periodically to buy Hive. If this is done over time in a consistent manner, it's possible to build some significant Hive power from this strategy. For example, if you buy and power up $3 worth of Hive per week, you would have staked 16 weeks times $3 which is $48 worth of Hive. (Assuming there are 16 weeks in the 4 months between September - December 2025)

Buying Hive with fiat is certainly a strategy to consider you are serious about building your Hive power quickly. Consistency in this method remains the most important factor.

2. Swap crypto for Hive and power up

This method is great if you hold or trade some cryptocurrency besides Hive. Lets say you have some BTC, or USDT or some other tokens. It is possible to trade your tokens for Hive and power up. Hive is traded directly with BTC and USDT in major exchanges like Finance, MEXC, and others. It's very easy to trade any of the pairs in listed markets and get the Hive to power up.

On the Hive Blockchain, users also earn L2 tokens. While the value of these tokens might not be so significant, they might accumulate over time and become tangible. So one could also convert Hive layer two tokens to Hive and power up. This could easily be done in Hive engine or inside Hive Keychain wallet.

3. Set Posts to pay out 100% hive power

By default, Hive posts pay out 50% Hive dollar and 50% Hive power. But it is possible to set it in such a way that 100% of the post pays out in Hive power. This could be done before publishing the post. So if you want to grow your Hive power fast, set some of your posts to pay out 100% in Hive power.

Here is how to do it in Ecency mobile app.

• On the post composer window, click the settings icon on top left. See image below.

• Click the arrow in Reward box. Then select "Stake 100%". Click "done" at the bottom.

When you post pays out, it will be 100% in Hive power.

4. Curate content: Another way to build Hive power quickly is through content curation. Go out their and interact with posts published on Hive. Try to vote the ones you feel are excellent. Each time you vote a post, you stand a chance to earn curation rewards. Curation rewards on Hive is also relative to your voting weight and Hive power. The bigger your voting weight and Hive power, the more rewards are paid out to you.

Curation rewards in Hive are paid 100% in Hive power. So there is another reason to vote more quality posts - it's a way to build Hive power quickly.

5. Participate in contests

There are many contenta on Hive. They often give out rewards to participants. Majority of the contests on Hive pay the winners any Hive based tokens like HBD, Hive or layer 2 tokens. At the end of the contest period, the winners directly receive the tokens in their wallets. Contests remain another way to accumulate Hive tokens to power up.

It's best to combine the above suggested ways to build Hive Power. The most important thing here is to stick to your goals no matter what. Bring consistent makes all the difference and not always about posting big numbers.
