Male Blackbird at the cementary forest

Today afternoon I decided to visit the cementary forest for some bird pictures. It was pretty cold and I was there one for about an hour before I drove off again. I got there by bike so I also did a small workout. Unfortunately there were only very few birds there and a lot of people that were walking at the cementary forest, this made it a bit difficult to get some bird pictures since a lot of them hid in the trees or in the undergrowth. But this male blackbird showed me his beauty when it was jumping around underneath the bushes.
I heard some woodpeckers on the trees but unfortunately this time I wasn't able to take some pictures of them. Since most of the time it was pretty dark it was also more or less difficult to take pictures of birds because when they were not enlightened by the little sunlight that came through, the pictures got really grainy.

It was noticing me, but since I kept some distance it didn't care. Picture: Florian Glechner.

Eventhough it is nearly completely black it is still a beautiful bird. Picture: Florian Glechner.
