Sore, Peas, Hot Mowing, Path Trimming, Room Cleaning, He Has A Floor - Monday

I slept for shit and woke up super sore still yesterday morning. It was cooler in the morning thankfully so the house was cooled off before the heat set in mid day. During my morning rounds I found a nice handful of peas were ready in the row. The plants are good and big now and the production is just starting to ramp up on them.
Around noon I headed out to mow. It was later than I wanted and already pretty hot out. It took me about half an hour to mow the lower area by the creek. I need to mow down the road today and some more areas around the farm. I was quite hot and sweaty after the mowing and had to go in to cool down and eat my leftovers for lunch.
The trail to the hill needed to be trimmed back. It is kind of a tunnel and it grows back in pretty quickly. I noticed the shrinking space so took the shears out and hacked back the sides. Been trying to get the boys to use it for a bike path but they can't seem to understand that a mountain bike is more than capable of handling the dirt and roughness...
The hot afternoon, 90+F, meant we were in the room working on cleaning. The boys managed to get most of the cards picked up which made it easier to sort through much of the rest of the debris on the floor.
It was another couple hours of work in the room but the floor has now been swept and mopped. We got part way through the bed but the boys ended up turning the bed underside into their sleeping fort for the night. Today we will finish his room and the huge hurdle of sorting all his clothes. R is super stoked on the clean room but the biggest part will be him keeping it this way.
After dinner and the new episode of Rick and Morty we headed out to soak. My poor back muscles needed it.
Today our new phones arrive which I am quite anxious to get along with a book I'd ordered. More mowing will get done this morning since it's to be near 100F today, R's room will get finished and his clothes will get sorted this afternoon, I wish I could go fly today with the club but have to be home for the delivery, and need to work in the greenhouse early.
