To learn or not to learn?

I been a passionate anime and manga fan for years. Few times I thought that it would be cool to try and make my own manga. But I thought that I was already way too old because I believe that most manga authors start drawing manga as kids. Still a while ago I started making digital art. The program I use(Clip studio paint.) has various tools and brushes. Some of those tools are especially for making manga...and even animations. So I thought that this is a sign that I should try to making manga after all. So far I only created a cover for my manga:

I already knew that I won't be a like another Kentaro Miura(author of Berserk). Because he was one of the kind artist and genius. But I still thought after seven- eight years of making art I would be decent at making manga as well. But I was wrong. I underestimated how much skill and time it takes to make manga. That first page is not as good as I wanted it to be. But it still took me hours to complete.

I also changed my art multiple times. At first I burned images on wood. Then started coloring those images. Later I started making art on canvas. Then digital 2D and 3D art. And now manga...But I would still like to try out and learn about more forms of art. Like maybe sculpture or wood carving. But the main thing stopping me from that is the same as with trying to make my manga- I fear that I am too old and will not be any good at it. That fear is stupid because you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Still for now I will focus on the art forms I am already familiar with. And trying to learn making manga.

I am not too picky about what I eat. I don't need fancy dishes. I could eat grilled meat or sausages every day. But I still think that learning more about cooking could be useful. In the past multiple times I liked girls who were cooks before. So if I knew more about cooking we would have one more topic to talk about. But asked many girls out and they all refused so I guess I believe that were is no rush to learn about cooking.
