After New Year’s, the park got a quiet glow-up!
When did that colorful xylophone show up on the wall? Those red, yellow, blue and green slats look like a mini xylophone—super springy colors. A tap makes a soft, crisp sound; at first I had no clue what it was, but tapping each slat played “1234567”. Sounds nice, so relaxing.
Down the path, by the lake: a row of scientist info boards (green-and-white, about Tianjin’s modern scientists). I snapped a photo of a stray cat crouching there, staring curiously. Sun glints on the water—mixing knowledge with park vibes? Weirdly cool.
By the lake, a two-wheel light setup (transparent colored panels). Spin the wheels, and colorful spots splash the ground. Spin ’em together or separate, and light through overlapping panels makes new colors—it’s “primary color mixing” or something. No clue on the science, but I messed with it for ages.
Fun, geeky, and pretty—wandering felt like unboxing a surprise. Turned a lazy sunbathing walk into something fresh.
