That Time of the Year

When I was younger, I had a lot of health issues and visited the Hospital more times than necessary. I didn’t have memories of these though and only knew of it when I got older. My older siblings told me once that they thought at one point that I would eventually died but just wanted to continue taking care of me. My Dad never told me any of this but he shows it every now and then. At certain times in the year he calls me up and asks how well I am shielding myself from cold and my dietary process.
Even last week, he called me again to ask, even my Step-Mum called me two days ago to ask 😂.
It sometimes seems weird that even as an adult they still give me this attention but man, I love it.

Myself being a social person have come to discover that as a guy, I am very lucky. Only few Dads check on their Sons’ health and dietary habits. We don’t talk much though as I suspect you might be painting a bonding time in your minds..lol.
My Dad is one of those iron-hearted men who don’t show emotions or laugh to jokes. But when it comes to my health, he doesn’t joke with it. Thumbs up Dad 👍.

One of the preventive measures I take employ is guarding myself from cold and that my friends is one of the reasons I drew this. In my country we only have two seasons. Dry and Wet seasons. Right now it’s wet season and July is the wettest of them all if you know what I mean 😉.
So when I saw this, my mind synced and I knew I had to make an impression.
