Creamy Bacon and Kielbasa Pasta Skillet
1 comment

This is one of those dishes I make a few times a month because it’s so easy and cheap. I usually always have the ingredients on hand so if I need to throw something together quick, this is my go-to recipe. It also works great with any shaped pasta. In my pictures you’ll see elbow and egg noodles. But I’ve also tried it with bow-tie and spiral rotini in the past.

This pasta is covered in a bacon-flavored cream sauce with a great consistency. The first step in this recipe includes frying the bacon until crisp. I would highly suggest draining all excess bacon grease before adding the cream and milk. Otherwise, the dish will be way too oily and cause a lot of sogginess. But DON’T throw the grease away! A great tip is to save the excess grease in a glass jar and store it in your fridge. You can use it in future recipes as a substitute for butter or oil. It will give all your dishes an amazing extra kick of flavor! 🥓 🐖 👩🏻🍳
