One annoying thing I keep running into is finding decent value for loyalty points I earn with different corporations. Since these points can end up being a decent chunk of value you get from finishing a mission. It’s kind of a big deal.

After running missions with Caldari Navy for a while and looking into what to spend my loyalty points (LP) on. I concluded that things were quite bad.

At least one rather nice thing about having loyalty points with Caldari Navy is being able to sit in the main Jita hub where their station is the place to buy and sell items. It then made it quite easy to work out how much a single point of LP would be worth in ISK

It seemed any item that required paying with faction tags as part of the price also included ISK and loyalty points. Was almost upside down or I'd get so little value. That those items were not worth buying to selling.

It’s also kind of funny when working out the price of an item and realizing it before even including tax. It was millions cheaper just to buy it off the market in Jita than it would be getting it through the loyalty shop from the Caldari Navy.

The other issue is needed some stuff would sell at a decent rate. Unlike when I was running missions with an Amarr corporation where I at least found some higher-priced items with a good return per LP. I was just not having the same luck.

That is where the golden rule of trying to find a balance between ISK per LP and the time it takes to sell sits. This left me with consumables. More importantly Caldari Mjolnir Torpedo. While they were only giving a disappointing return of 1,114 ISK per LP. It was better than most items I was checking.

For whatever reason the Mjolnir Torpedo was also quite above the value from other types of misses. After looking at the market I was a bit shocked how few even had any for sale. Making me a bit consider that perhaps there was a reason for that.

Thankfully not even a few days later the over 100k LP I had earned during my time of farming for faction gains. Ended up selling in the form of a Mjolnir Torpedo I had bought from the shop.

This however left me wondering. Since the LP values that I've now gotten from a few different corporations were so bad. Is there still anywhere decent that I could get into?

At the time of this, I was using an Alpha character so I'd be restricted to running level 3 missions. As it would turn out this would end up working out quite well. It’s been common knowledge for quite some time that very rewarding ISK to LP can be found with the Sisters Of Eve.

Even better at the time. There was an event going on where everyone was out scanning down sites. It just so happens the Sisters Of Eve are the preferred type of probes, scanning ships, and probe launchers that many would choose to have for this event. As a result, that only made prices go up further.

I also only had enough standing with Sisters Of Eve to run level 3’s anyway. So, I felt this was the perfect opportunity to grind out some factions and get to level 4’s. While also taking a look at their items and seeing just how profitable this could be over running missions for a different corporation.

Despite LP items from so many other corporations becoming so low-valued. It turns out Sisters of Eve still hold quite some value. At the time of running some missions for them getting Sisters Core Probe Launchers and selling them netted me 1,760 ISK per LP.

Now that is still nothing like the good old days when you wanted at least 3k ISK per LP. That was at least a bit better. It was also clear at some point players realized these things would be selling fast and have a higher price, so the market started to flood a bit with them for sale.

For anyone who has ever used a probe launcher in Eve Online. You know despite your best efforts sometimes probes get left behind. I suspected with so many people running around who rarely use probes that that would end up being the case for quite a few.

Not to mention it takes eight probes for a full launch set. If you have an extra 8 they can be set up to auto-load into the probe launcher. Making it quite ideal to always carry 16. Even more so if you end up losing a set you still can go on.

That would also mean anytime someone's ship got killed while exploring. They would not only be out of the probe launcher but all those probes as well. Even more, if people over-bought knowing they would forget a few.

Just a standard Sisters Core Scanner Probe alone goes for around 460k ISK at the time of writing this. So that would be around 7.3 million ISK worth of probes for every single person going out to explore who wants a slight edge from using Sister Core Scanner Probes over the cheaper ones. I would even dare say if someone's skills were not so great they would almost need the special probes in the first place.

All that mattered was these ended up being around 1.9k ISK per LP. While not quite double what I could get with other corporations. That is quite a boost. Even more so if you consider if I was running level 4 missions instead of level 3. I might get an 8k LP reward. Instead of getting nearly 10 million ISK worth of LP from such a mission, I'd be getting instead 15.2 million ISK.

There are also some implants you can buy as well that give you a bonus for scanning. I was not expecting them to be worth an amazing about. It would turn out I was wrong. They were netting 2,286 ISK per LP.

With an item that high I was expecting to have issues with volume. It turns out due to the event that was going on at the time. There was a massive spike in buying volume. Making it even a bigger deal than I was expecting.

I then investigated further items I could get from Sisters of Eve. To my shock, there were even better deals than what I had found. Perhaps most are not worth trying to sell as they are lower volumes. Others were not quite that golden days of 3k ISK per LP. Still, they were better than I was expecting.

It was great to find LP items that were still worth a decent amount. I also did end up getting enough factions to unlock level 4 missions with Sisters Of Eve. While I have no plans for now to go farm a bunch of them. It is good to know I have yet another opportunity unlocked for myself if I want to.
