Hello, #hive girls, friends from all over the world. I'm back today to participate with great pleasure in this #240 community contest.

My husband would also be very happy to participate in this initiative, as he, too, loves learning languages.
I speak three languages, in addition to my native language. I was taught English in school as a child, and as an adult, I studied French and German.
However, I studied these languages ​​out of necessity, for personal growth; not because, like my husband, I love learning new languages.
Let me explain: I would like to learn them all, but not in the same way that he studies them, out of vocation. She has a knack for languages. She even studies several at the same time.

After studying French, I had the privilege of being the guitar teacher for the son of the French ambassador to my country. I liked this and it suited me perfectly, as I was able to study and practice the language frequently with them.
Learning French was very useful to me. Especially when I had the opportunity to perform a series of concerts in Paris, the French capital, in December 2007.

In June 2000, I traveled to Germany, also as a concert artist, along with other musicians from my country.
I had a somewhat unpleasant experience, which also proves the importance of having studied languages.
It turns out we were with the group, and no one spoke German except me and the translator, who wasn't with us at the time. Then, several Germans who were serving us started talking, joking about us in their own language, thinking no one would know what they were doing.
That's when, in fluent German, I answered them and put them in their place.

Of all the languages ​​I've learned, without a doubt, the language I've benefited from most on a daily basis and used the most has been English.
English wasn't just useful to me during my trip to Canada in October 2005. It also helped me throughout my university studies, when I studied bibliographies not written in my own language.

I had to use it for my master's degree, since all theses are submitted with a summary in English.
And recently, for my doctorate, I had to give a presentation of my thesis project, also in English.

It's said to be the universal language, and despite being the one I've used the most, for these and other reasons, French is my favorite of the ones I know.
I'd like to speak others, of course, but I'll leave that to my husband, who, somehow, can study so many at the same time and with the same enthusiasm.

What is undeniable is that we have to study and improve ourselves. And in this improvement, they must include, yes or yes, several foreign languages, in addition to English.

Mi esposo también estuviera muy contento de poder contestar a esta iniciativa, ya que a él también le fascina aprender idiomas.
Yo sé hablar tres idiomas, además de mi lengua natal. Desde niña me enseñaron el inglés en la escuela y ya adulta, estudié lengua francesa y alemán.
Sin embargo,estos idiomas los estudié por necesidad, por una cuestión de superación personal; no porque, como le sucede a mi esposo, me encante aprender idiomas nuevos.
Déjame explicarme mejor, si me gustaría aprenderlos todos, pero no de modo que él que los estudia, por vocación. Tiene esa facilidad para los idiomas. Los estudia, incluso, hasta varios al mismo tiempo.

Después de haber estudiado francés, tuve el privilegio de ser la maestra de guitarra del hijo del embajador de Francia en mi país. Esto me gustó y me vino como anillo el dedo, ya que con ellos pude estudiar practicar el idioma con frecuencia.
Aprender francés me fue de mucha utilidad. Sobre todo cuando me apareció la oportunidad de realizar una serie de conciertos en París, la capital francesa, en diciembre del 2007.

En el mes de junio del año 2000 viajé a Alemania, también como concertista, junto a otros músicos de mi país.
Tuve una experiencia un poco desagradable, que prueba, además, la importancia de haber estudiado idiomas.
Resulta que estábamos con el grupo y nadie hablaba alemán excepto yo y el traductor, que no se encontraba en ese momento con nosotros. Entonces, varios alemanes que nos atendían comenzaron a hablar, haciendo bromas sobre nosotros en su idioma, pensando que nadie se enteraría de lo que estaban haciendo.
Ahí fue cuando en un fluido alemán, les contesté y los puse en su lugar.

No obstante a todos los idiomas que he aprendido, sin duda alguna, el idioma al que más provecho a diario y al que mayor uso le he dado, ha sido el inglés.
El inglés no solamente me sirvió durante mi viaje a Canadá en octubre del año 2005. Me sirvió también durante toda mi carrera universitaria, para estudiar bibliografías que no aparecen escritas en mi idioma.

En la maestría tuve que emplearlo, ya que todas las tesis se entregan con un resumen en inglés.
Y recientemente para el doctorado tuve que realizar una presentación de mi proyecto de tesis, también en inglés.

Se dice que es el idioma universal y a pesar de que ser el que más he utilizado, por estas y otras razones, es el francés el idioma que más me gusta de los que conozco.
Me gustaría hablar otros, por supuesto pero eso se lo dejaré a mi esposo, que es el que, no sé cómo, puede estudiar tantos al mismo tiempo y con el mismo gusto.

Lo que sí es innegable, es que tenemos que estudiar y superarnos. Y en esa superación, tienen que incluir, sí o sí, a varias lenguas extranjeras, además del inglés.
