Amelie vuelve a Terapia de Lenguaje [ESP-ENG]

Entre tantas cosas, quiero contarles que luego de muchos años mi pequeña Amelie comenzó a recibir Terapia de Lenguaje. Está es su tercera semana.

Cuando le tocó cita con el fisiatría a Amelie, tuvo que llevarla mi hermana y realmente está cita es muy importante y al ser yo quien pasa la mayor parte del tiempo con ella y quién más la conoce, debí estar allí, pero no sé pudo, ya que ese día (23 de Octubre) operaron a mi papá y también Ammy tenía la inauguración de las Olimpiadas Deportivas que es solo 1 vez al año, así que bajo toda recomendación @sarybeth acompañó a Amelie y lo hizo genial.

En estos días y luego de recibir la llamada, hemos estado muy felices por ella, ya que hace 4 años una terapeuta la traumó, al punto de que Amelie no quiso pintar más, pues esa licenciada solo le daba hojas y más hojas con dibujos y la obligaba a pintar, sin hacerle más nada. Obviamente hubo una queja y denuncia, no solo de mi parte, si no también de otros padres y ahora la parte de Terapia de Lenguaje para niños, la lleva una licenciada muy amable y que Amelie no le tiene miedo.

Martes y Jueves en las mañanas vamos al hospital y al salir de allí, atravesamos media ciudad para ir a buscar a mi hijo menor (Joaquín), pero como llegamos siempre 40 minutos antes de la hora de salida, nos vamos a la esquina a un parque que está cerca y allí esperamos durante ese tiempo mientras Amelie disfruta del parque.

Hello beauties 🤗 💕

Among many things, I want to share that after many years, my little Amelie has started receiving speech therapy. This is her third week.

When it was time for Amelie’s appointment with the physiatrist, my sister had to take her. This appointment was very important, and since I spend most of the time with her and know her best, I should have been there. However, I couldn’t go because on that day (October 23rd), my dad was having surgery, and Ammy also had the opening of the Sports Olympics, which only happens once a year. So, on everyone’s recommendation, @sarybeth accompanied Amelie, and she did great.

These days, after receiving the call, we’ve been very happy for her because four years ago, a therapist traumatized her to the point where Amelie didn’t want to draw anymore. That therapist would just give her more and more sheets with drawings and force her to color them without doing anything else. There was a complaint filed, not only by me but also by other parents. Now, the speech therapy for children is handled by a very kind therapist, and Amelie isn’t afraid of her.

On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, we go to the hospital, and afterward, we cross half the city to pick up my younger son (Joaquín). Since we always arrive 40 minutes early, we go to a park nearby and wait there while Amelie enjoys the park.
