I'm not very smart, handsome, or rich. That's fine with me. My heart is pure and I do my best to be a good person. Somehow it must be working out because despite every reason why this should not be so, the Princess is in love with me!

I know! I didn't believe it either at first but I don't think princesses are capable of deception. I feel like that's one of the rules…?

But in any case, for a while I'd admired her from afar like everyone else in the kingdom and that was enough for me. Knowing that she loved the equines I cared for so well, that my hard work maybe made her smile.

Then one day our eyes met as she was playing with one of the foals and that was it for me. I was probably half in love with her all along, but that's when it turned all the way to 100%.

Then she started visiting me and we'd talk about this and that. Trivial everyday nonsense. Then we started talking about everything. And that's how I found out about Graxoth.

I've never had a mean thought in my head. It's always been my philosophy that even people who seem bad on the outside are just waiting for the right kind word or deed to show the good they were hiding inside all along. But Graxoth is my exception. I could kill him for making her live in fear and I will kill him if he gets any closer to her. Which is why I asked the Princess to run away with me.

And I must have done something amazing in another life because despite everything she'll have to leave behind to go with me, she said yes.

And so ends Part 5. I think thats all the main characters now. No wait, there's actually one more! I almost forgot...

On another note, I've decided to keep this image for the series (it might be lucky 😉) and I'll keep posting in Scholar and Scribe for now even if things are a little quiet around here except for for me.

More parts/chapters are on the way, definitely eventually, and probably even weekly if I can get into a groove.
